On last night's AC360, Anderson Cooper called out the Republican congressman who asked Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker about how CNN got exclusive footage of Roger Stone's arrest.

A rep for CNN did not immediately respond to request for comment from TheWrap.

He is charged with lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering related to discussions he had during the 2016 election about WikiLeaks, the anti-secrecy group that released material stolen from Democratic groups including Hillary Clinton's campaign.

"Roger Stone has faith in the jury system and in the mechanics of jury selection which are created to ensure a fair trial".

Igor Konashenkov, the ministry's spokesman, said. "I will make every possible effort to prevent it", he said. The following day Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow was providing a mirror response.

"I opened the door and in my front yard, I was staring down barrel of two assault weapons and I saw a dozen other Federal Bureau of Investigation agents in the background, all wearing night goggles, full SWAT gear, sidearms, and so-on". It looks like a high-stakes raid, but CNN's cameraman is still 40 feet away filming it all. One agent swings his firearm around as he scans and surveys Stone's front porch. Behind the property, a boat arrives with at least two agents on board. He comes out with his hands raised above his head and is put in handcuffs.

Stone, after spending the days since his arrest publicly railing against law enforcement and Jackson herself, pushed back in a court filing Friday. He is barefoot. Stone is wearing a T-shirt that says, "Roger Stone did nothing wrong".

"The FBI and their water carriers in corporate media tells us, 'Totally commonplace.' 'By the book.' "Happens all the time, '" Carlson said as he ended his segment".

Jackson said last week that if she imposes a gag order, it won't limit all of Stone's speech.
