"If you are looking for troubles, you won't find them with me", Higuain told Italian media who met him on his arrival at Milan's Malpensa airport.

The Spain worldwide has been given the green light to depart Stamford Bridge this month after being shut out by boss Maurizio Sarri. "You'll never get it with me".

Higuain became a Juventus and Serie A record-signing when he moved to Turin in 2016 for €90 million, after scoring a league-record 36 goals under Sarri at Napoli in the previous campaign.

Higuain was filmed arriving back in Italy after the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, where he had played as a substitute as AC Milan lost 1-0 to Juventus.

The loan move for Higuain certainly seems to signal the end of Alvaro Morata's time at Chelsea.

Any deal is complicated, given Higuain's deal with Milan runs until the end of the season, and Chelsea are usually reluctant to commit to deals with older players.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reached a personal agreement to join Atletico Madrid, says Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

The move for Higuain is a strong gesture of support for Sarri who has wanted the 31-year-old since taking over at Stamford Bridge last summer.

Pressed on the issue, Gattuso added: "I've got a burning inside me, we have 25 players, so let's not talk about this now". I am fully convinced of his abilities'.

Infuriated by a perceived unjust refereeing decision, Higuain reacted angrily after the final whistle and had to be dragged away by his Milan teammates.

However, the Spaniard knows the league well and had a few decent years with Real Madrid before his move to Juventus and then to Chelsea.
