Hazard still dreams of Real Madrid

The Chelsea player says his dream remains to sign with the Spanish giants and Real Madrid could make a move in January. I don't want to say that I am not talking with the club or the owner.

Eden Hazard continued his sensational start to the season as unbeaten Chelsea inflicted more misery on Southampton. I don't want to lie today. He had a very serious injury and now he's improving every day. "But we will talk about my future soon".

"In my head, sometimes I wake up in the morning and think I want to go", he said. It is a hard decision. It is my future. The attacker captained Belgium to a third-placed place at the World Cup in Russian Federation in a team filled with captain material thanks to his character and ability.

Hazard's strike and second-half efforts from Ross Barkley and substitute Alvaro Morata at St Mary's meant Maurizio Sarri's side ended the weekend joint top of the table, level on points with Manchester City and Liverpool.

Hazard is in the form of his life at Stamford Bridge, scoring again and providing an assist in Sunday's 3-0 Premier League victory at Southampton.

"It's been good. They have had a very good start", said the 35-year-old.

Meanwhile, another Chelsea star - Ross Barkley - has said he is desperate for Hazard to stay so he can continue playing alongside the Belgian in west London.

Trial: Chicago officer guilty of murder in shooting of Laquan McDonald
A judge has decided against taking a Chicago police officer on trial for murder into custody for being late to a court hearing. Van Dyke faced two counts of first-degree murder, 16 counts of aggravated battery and one count of official misconduct.

Southampton could have taken the lead against the run of play, but Danny Ings blazed the ball wildly over after good work down the left by former Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand.

However, Hazard is still refusing to rule out a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, which he admits is his "dream".

Hazard's loyalty to Chelsea could well have cost him a shot at club football's pinnacle and that might be what his decision comes down to. The power sits with the player: stay or go.

Finances are no more significant an issue in any contract talks.

Chelsea totally controlled possession in the opening 20 minutes but Hazard's goal - his eighth of the season - came after a tricky spell for them. "I am talking a lot with them".

"I am happy and I don't need anything". "It is not trophies".

"I just feel with his career at Everton that there was too much expectation when he burst into the team. Then I am happy".
