The crowd at the Parc de Princes stadium were given a show as Paris Saint-Germain, inspired by Neymar, ran Red Star Belgrade ragged with a 6-1 win in their second Group C game in the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League.

The result left PSG on three points from two games after their opening 3-2 defeat by Liverpool, who visit Napoli in the group's 1900 GMT kick off. Napoli were held to a surprise 0-0 draw at Red Star in their opening match.

Kylian Mbappe added a goal of his own in the 70th minute but Red Star Belgrade's Marko Marin eliminated PSG's hopes of keeping a clean sheet when he scored in the 74th minute.

Neymar produced some more magic in the build-up to PSG's fifth goal 20 minutes from the end, finding Juan Bernat, who squared for Mbappe to get his name on the scoresheet.

PSG continued to dominate and they bagged a third goal in the 37th minute as Edinson Cavani wriggled away from two defenders before wrong-footing the goalkeeper.

Red Star supporters were given something to celebrate as Marin, the former German global winger whose career lost its way after a move to Chelsea, blasted into the roof of the net for a consolation goal in the 74th minute.

But Neymar had the last word, curling another free-kick high into the net to complete his hat-trick nine minutes from time, taking him into double figures for the season.

In between the goals and early in the second half, Borjan pulled off a string of superb saves to deny Neymar and Mbappe on multiple occasions as PSG carved open Red Star's defence at will, with Mbappe also guilty of some sloppy finishing.
