Well, it's a Netflix Original now. When his unwanted nightmares begin to affect his relationship with his family, he soon realizes they may be the key to a disgusting reality, as a relentless alien attack begins to destroy the Earth. Netflix has since picked up the rights.

The Ben Young-directed feature, which co-stars Michael Peña and Lizzy Caplan, hits the streaming service on July 27.

A father has a recurring dream of losing his family. Much like he suspects, his nightmare does turn into reality when the planet is invaded by an otherworldly phenomenon. Now, fighting for their lives, he comes to realize an unknown strength to keep them safe from harm. Viewers can look forward to an alien invasion and a few everyman heroes to stand up against it.

North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit: Donald Trump says Germany is 'captive of Russians'
Trump did not stand in the way of NATO's adoption at the summit of new plans to defend against Russian Federation and terrorism. And you tell me if that's appropriate, because I think it's not.

So yeah, it's an alien invasion movie with a twist, and that twist probably has something to do with Peña's character's prophetic nightmares.

Extinction also stars Luke Cage lead Mike Colter, Israel Broussard, and Erica Tremblay, the latter of whom is the sister of Room star Jacob Tremblay.
