Good things come in threes. ("Django Unchained", "The Hateful Eight") are among those who will join Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, and Michael Madsen in the Sony drama, set in 1969. DiCaprio stars as a former Western TV star and Pitt plays his longtime stunt double. While both characters struggle to make it in the film industry they don't recognize any more, Rick happens to live next door to Sharon Tate (Robbie). Fanning will reportedly play Squeaky Fromme, the Manson Family member who would attempt to assassinate President Gerald Ford in 1975. Lewis is attached to the role of Steve McQueen, the real-life actor known for his anti-hero onscreen persona and for his roles in films like The Sand Pebbles, The Cincinnati Kid, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Towering Inferno, Bullitt, The Getaway, and Papillon.

Yesterday we learned that half the people in Tinseltown had joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and many of us assumed that was the end of that: surely, we thought, there would be no more roles to fill.

In the realm of more mysterious characters, Perry is set to play Scotty Lancer; Collins, who's been killing it on HBO's Westworld, is Ernesto the Mexican Vaquero (and if Tarantino doesn't find a way to work "motherfucker" into his dialogue then he's missing out on one of Collins' very particular skills); and Jefferson will play a character named Land Pirate Keith.
