Victory or Defeat in Game 7, the Boston Celtics have already won

In the first close game, the lowest-scoring and the first victory for a road team in the series, James played all 48 minutes, scoring 12 of his points in the fourth quarter for his sixth straight Game 7 win.

The poise, passion and high-level of performance Tatum displayed in Game 7 is a very encouraging sign for the Celtics' future.

Cleveland played Game 7 without Kevin Love, who was ruled out for medical reasons after bumping heads with Tatum in the first quarter of Game 6.

Jayson Tatum has scored at unprecedented levels, showing a level of maturity and poise the Celtics haven't seen since Paul Pierce.

What else can you say?

Boston made the mistake of using the three pointer as their main offensive weapon down the stretch but they finished a dismal seven-of-39 overall from beyond the arc.

The last echoes of the final buzzer dissipated to silence and fans decked in green exited with barely a murmur. He was dominant in Game 2, scoring 42 points and nothing a triple-double with 12 assists and 10 rebounds. James will make his eighth straight NBA Finals appearance.

Like many of his teammates, Green has been up and down throughout the postseason - getting off to a slow start against IN, netting double-figures IN three of the four games against Toronto and posting a quiet series against Boston before Friday night's performance. Bringing his team back from 3-1 to beat the Warriors in 2016 certainly has an argument, but you can't deny that what LeBron has done this postseason, at the age of 33 and playing the minutes that he has, is truly remarkable.

The presence of Tristan Thompson has made it more hard for Horford to score in this series, and Boston will need its younger players to continue to step up when the Cavaliers send multiple bodies at him.

Since LeBron James is rumored to decline his player option for next season this summer, there's a chance that he could be wearing another jersey in the fall.

In the face of a strengthening Cavaliers attack, the Celtics seems to retreat.

With Green getting the start on Sunday night, it's still unclear whether Brad Stevens will stick with Aron Baynes in the starting lineup or return to Marcus Morris. That's the second-highest total in league history, falling just one point shy of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 352 points in 1970 (though the the-Lew Alcindor did it in just 10 games).

The Wine & Gold's bench will get a little thinner on Sunday night with Jeff Green moving into the starting lineup.
