Police are onsite and school is in lockdown.
On Friday morning, a school shooter, later identified as a 13-year-old student, entered Noblesville West Middle School in suburban Indianapolis and began shooting.
Noblesville Police Department said the first call came in at 9:06 a.m. A teacher was able to "swat" the gun from the suspect. The station reported the teacher was shot while attempting to intervene in the shooting. Authorities declined to provide their conditions.
The Noblesville shooting is the second school shooting in eight days.
"Never thought that this would happen", she said.
"I just want to get my arms around my boy", she said. But hospital officials said at least three people, including one adult, were being treated. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The son of a WISH-TV producer has said that a shooter is in custody.

They said pollutants from the Sterlite plant have caused breathing disorders, skin diseases, heart conditions and cancer. Sterlite Copper released a statement expressing "sorrow and regret" at the incidents during the protest on Tuesday.
Noblesville, which is about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of Indianapolis, is home to about 50,000 people.
Students were being taken to nearby Noblesville High School, where parents were asked to pick them up.
Indiana State Teachers Association President Teresa Meredith released a statement Friday morning about the school shooting.
The teacher that was shot while taking down the shooter and was taken to IU Health Methodist hospital. The student was taken into custody by police.
