"But there was just one little step that I went to catch myself on and I missed", she explained, adding that she was alone at the time of the injury except for her 3-year-old son, Isaiah, who was asleep upstairs.

The "Cry Pretty" singer also spoke more in depth about her fall during the NBC morning show interview, confirming that it "wasn't pretty" when she first fell, busting her lip, breaking her wrist, and suffering a number of other cuts and abrasions. "I feel like people relate to it because. sometimes you just have to let it out", Underwood said.

Although Underwood went darkish on social media for a short time frame throughout restoration, in December 2017, Under Deck alum Adrienne Gang posted an image along with her, marking the primary time followers had seen Underwood post-fall.
